The leaves of Millettia peguensis grow alternately on the stem (spirally arranged).
The leaf is compound, imparipinnate. The leaf is 10-15 cm long and 8-10 cm wide with a 3 cm petiole.
The leaflets are pale green-coloured above and paler beneath. The leaflets are chartaceous and glabrous on both sides.
The leaflets have a 5-6 mm long petiolule.
The leaflet of Millettia peguensis is 5-7 cm long and 3.5-4 cm wide. The shape of the blade is elliptic or ovate, the apex is acuminate, the base is cuneate or rounded and the margins are entire.
The venation of the leaf is reticulate with a prominent midrib.
