The flowers of Gmelina asiatica are grouped in axillary or terminal racemes.
The calyx-tube is 6 mm long and 4 mm wide with 4 short lobes. The calyx is light green and finely pubescent.
The corolla is glabrous and bright yellow-coloured. The corolla is campanulate and 4-lobed with a prominent lower lip. The corolla-tube is 3.5-4 cm long and 2.5 cm wide.
The androecium is composed of 4 stamens (2 long and 2 short). The filaments are arched, 1 cm or 2 cm long. The anthers are globose.
The style is filiform and 3.5 mm long. The stigma is spatulate. The buds are covered with short and white hairs.
The flowers are fragrant.
